AC Weed Guides

Plain guides for adults and patients who buy and use cannabis in Massachusetts. Each fact links to the sentence it comes from, so you can read the source yourself, and where we could not find a source the guide says so. The guides give no prices, say nothing about how cannabis feels, and are not legal or medical advice.

Pre-rolls

What the sizes mean, half gram against 1 gram, how long a pre-roll lasts, how to store one and how to fix a joint that canoes. The package facts come from the Commission's label rule, the storage facts from two published studies, and each page says which parts those studies did not test. Rolling tips are labeled as common practice.

Storing flower

How to keep weed fresh, using a year-long laboratory study at the Technion in Israel, and how to tell stale flower from flower that has gone bad. The mold page says plainly that no regulator or study we found publishes a visual checklist.

Massachusetts law

The rules for adults and visitors: age, limits, buying, home grow, public use, driving and state lines. Each rule links to the Commission's Know the Laws page or FAQs, the current text of 935 CMR 500, or the 2026 session law that doubled the limit from one ounce to two.

Strain families

Where well-known strain names come from, what is published and by whom, and the AC strains that carry them. A cross appears only where a named publication prints it, and AC's own lineage records are labeled as AC's, not as a genetic test.

How to check a citation

The label in brackets after a sentence opens the source at the passage that backs it. If your browser does not highlight the passage, search the page for the quote shown in the Sources list at the bottom of the guide. Each quote was checked against the source text on the date shown on the guide.
