Chelsea has five shops on the Cannabis Control Commission's Where to Buy list, and the sheet marks all five adult-use. The tracker records adult-use zoning with a license cap. Peabody is about 16 minutes away, nearly all of it on US 1.
| Shop (as the Commission lists it) | Address | License type on the list |
|---|---|---|
| Western Front | 121 Webster Ave, Chelsea, MA 02150 | Adult-use |
| Harbor House Collective | 80 Eastern Ave, Chelsea, MA 02150 | Adult-use |
| RISE | 200 Beacham Street, Chelsea, MA 02150 | Adult-use |
| Trinity Naturals | 260 Second Street, Chelsea, MA 02150 | Adult-use |
| House of Ermias | 267 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150 | Adult-use |
All five rows are marked adult-use. The Commission's separate open license file, updated October 22, 2026, shows five active Marijuana Retailer licenses in Chelsea with operations started, and two Medical Marijuana Treatment Center licenses, at 200 Beacham Street and 80 Eastern Avenue. The file says nothing the sheet does not, but the two lists are built separately and a patient should ask a shop what it currently serves. The Where to Buy list has no date.
Closest to Chelsea City Hall, by straight line and not by road: Trinity Naturales (Chelsea), East Boston Cannabis Co (Boston), Boutiq East Boston (Boston) and Apex Noire (Boston). Each is on AC's partner list as of October 31, 2026 and had an AC order within the 90 days before this page was built. Menus change, so check before you go.

The Municipal Zoning Tracker, read October 31, 2026, gives Chelsea adult-use "Zoning in place; license cap", delivery "Delivery permitted" and social consumption "No zoning in place". A license cap limits how many licenses the city will allow; the tracker does not give a number and neither does this page.
Revere, which borders Chelsea on the north, reads "Ban in place" for adult-use, and Boston, across the Mystic River, reads "Zoning in place". The tracker calls itself a general guide and gives no bylaw text, so the Chelsea town clerk is the source for what a street or a business may do.
The Census Bureau estimated 40,245 residents in Chelsea on July 1, 2024 (an estimate, not the 2020 count). It covers 2.2 square miles of land and 0.2 of water.
The MBTA lists Chelsea station at 174 Everett Avenue, on the Newburyport/Rockport Line. The Silver Line SL3 runs between Chelsea Station and South Station.
The medical card process is the same everywhere in Massachusetts: a certifying provider, a PIN by email, then registration with the Commission, which charges nothing.
From Chelsea City Hall on Broadway to 25 Newbury Street the router gives about 11 miles and about 16 minutes by car in light traffic. Take Washington Avenue and Fifth Street to the Northeast Expressway and follow US 1 north through Revere and Saugus, where it becomes Broadway and then Newbury Street in Peabody.
It is one road for almost the whole trip. US 1 backs up at the Tobin Bridge and in Revere at rush hour. Advanced Dispensary will serve registered medical patients and caregivers only.
The Commission's Where to Buy list shows five, all marked adult-use.
The tracker reads "Zoning in place; license cap" and gives no number.
Advanced Cultivators (AC) grows in Lowell, Massachusetts, under cultivation license MC283314. Advanced Dispensary, its medical dispensary at 25 Newbury Street on US Route 1, is being renovated for registered patients and caregivers. Chelsea sits at the Boston end of US 1 north, the road the store is on. No opening date has been announced; the patient list on the Peabody page hears first.

The shop list was copied on October 23, 2026; the zoning tracker, license counts and drive times were read on October 31, 2026; the population, area, station and park facts were read on November 1, 2026. The Commission publishes the shop list and the tracker without an updated date and says to confirm details with the town.
Shop names, addresses and tracker entries are copied from public records. This page does not rank shops, give medical or legal advice, or make any claim about health.
